Oh dear.... it's a good thing I warned you that I wasn't going to post all the time! This could end up being more like a quarterly newsletter than anything! :0) Well I am here today ~ so let's run with it, and see what happens:
This has been a complicated year so far for me.... there are more random thoughts in my head at the moment than I think there have ever been. I thought I was going to have a melt-down last week with the stress I had going on, but each day came and went with me barely clutching hold of my sanity; and today ~ having taken a couple of "mental health" days at the beginning of this week, I am feeling much better about things. Oh, there was one other thing that happened this week that caused me to grin like the Cheshire Cat... but I'm not sharing that story... that one is between me and the telephone.....
I can't believe that my little man is almost done with Kindergarten... this school year has gone so fast. He has grown so much and I am SO proud of all he has accomplished; we are both excited to see what 1st grade will bring. Of course, having said that, he is MUCH more excited about the 10 weeks of summer holiday that come in between then and now! lol.... He gets to go to "Camp Grandma" for a week in July which he is looking forward to ... fishing at the pond, building stuff in the barn/shed with Grandpa, visiting the farm, all sorts of fun stuff. Plus I'm sure that he and I will spend time at the pool ~ provided it is warmer than last year... Mummy isn't getting in there if it's freezing! No Sir!! lol....
We are going to plant seeds for our veggie garden tonight... this years selections are salad greens, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, peas and mini pumpkins (the 3" ones). Fingers crossed for a good growing season and lots of fresh yummies to eat later in the year! Hmmmm ... if only we could grow chocolate.....
Alright, well in the interest of leaving myself something to write about another day (hopefully in the not too distant future) I will say "toodles" for now.
Have yourself a lovely day/evening/night (you can never tell) and I will talk to you again soon.
Toodles!
